The ladies of Chapel W. I. have generously given the team’s “£50,000 for Fifty Years Service” a boost with a kind donation of £100.
Fund Raising Officer, Peter Farrer and Team Member Keith Birkitt attended the W.I meeting last Wednesday and were presented with a cheque by Mrs Margaret Bywater.  The money had been donated to Chapel W.I. by the organisers of the Four Inns Scout Challenge Walk in appreciation the work done by the W.I. at the event.   A spokesperson for the W.I. said, “The rescue team started following the deaths of three scouts on the Four Inns Walk so it was an excellent choice for our donation.”
Peter Farrer expressed the rescue team’s sincere thanks for the donation which will go into the pot to replace an operational vehicle at the end of the year.
