The team recently received a substantial donation from Waitrose & Partners to support the valuable work carried out by the rescue team. Without this support from the community and businesses in the area, the team could not continue to provide the emergency response that we currently do; so, a huge thank you to everyone who helped out to nominate the team, and of course to Waitrose, for the donation.

Waitrose and Partners ‘Community Matters’ is a way of giving something back to good causes in their local area. Each month the branch can choose 3 local good causes, the amount being donated to each is nominated by the customers. On this occasion, the Buxton Waitrose branch customers nominated the rescue team as a recipient of a donation.

Buxton Mountain Rescue Team is very grateful to Waitrose customers for nominating the team as one of their good charitable causes.
