Christmas Cracker

In clear but cold weather, the Team spent Sunday morning supporting Staffordshire Moorlands Athletic Club annual Christmas Cracker Race. This event has been supported by the team for many years and is firmly established in the team calendar of events.

The race starts and finishes at the Tittesworth Water visitor centre and takes a route over The Roaches, passing many famous crags and with amazing views over the surrounding countryside.

This year, the team had three runners in the race, Clare who is training for Mountain Rescue Spine Challenger, who won her age group category, Jon managed a very respectable 15th place and Andy completed in a great time too.

We’d like to congratulate everybody who took part in this race and we’ll catch you all next year, if not before.
