Breakfast with Bill
Bill Turnbull, host of BBC’s Breakfast programme for fifteen years, is retiring this week. In celebration of his time living and working in the Peak District he has been out and about with a small camera crew meeting some of the locals.
Last Friday Bill met up with Buxton Rescue Team at Tegg’s Nose Country Park for some brief filming of a rescue exercise.
The resulting film has been shown over the last few days in short articles on BBC One. On Wednesday morning the broadcast went out live from Edale village where he met with a member of Edale MRT and Buxton’s Team Doctor, Vicki Taylor, on the famous “red sofa”.
