The team received a report of a male stranded in poor weather on the Monsal trail. At the time, there was intense and sudden heavy rainfall.
Mobile 4 and driver was sent to the location to carry out a quick assessment of what the situation might have been. Mobile 4 travelled along the Monsal Trail from Litton Tunnel to Cressbrook Tunnel but nothing found. The driver spoke to several members of the public who were unable to help or provide any more information.
The team was called out to assist Edale Mountain Rescue Team with an incident near Mam Tor yesterday evening.
East Midlands Ambulance Service had requested our help with a casualty who had slipped on the way down the hillside and injured their lower leg. The teams provided pain relief before transferring the casualty to a mountain rescue stretcher then carrying them down the hillside to the road where an ambulance was waiting to take them to hospital.

A mid afternoon call to Pooles Cavern, Buxton came in from East Midlands Ambulance Service to assist them with a casualty at the Country Park. The casualty had been in one of the wooded areas of the country park when they were suffered an injury.
An East Midlands Ambulance paramedic was quickly on scene to treat the casualty and, due to the steep uneven ground, requested our assistance to help move the casualty safely to the car park.

While out enjoying a trip to the Castleton area a member of a walking group fell, sustaining injuries to the upper body and shoulder. Derbyshire Constabulary were contacted, and as often happens mid-week, both Edale Mountain Rescue Team and Buxton Mountain Rescue Team were contacted and called to the incident.

The team were called out to assist Edale Mountain Rescue Team with a walker who had sustained an ankle injury whilst descending towards Speedwell Cavern Car Park.
Edale MR team members administered first aid, after which the casualty was packaged and placed onto a Mountain Rescue stretcher and carried back to the car park.

While leading a route on the Lower Tier of Hoffman Quarry a climber fell sustaining a serious lower leg injury. The fall was witnessed by some climbers who were close by and dialled 999 and asked for Police and then Mountain Rescue.
The location of the quarry on the outskirts of Buxton meant locally based team members were soon on scene, with response vehicles arriving shortly after. The Team was called out mid morning to a report of a mountain biker who had taken a fall on Mam Tor.
Twelve team members responded very quickly and whilst they were en-route to the reported incident, further information was received which meant that our help was not required.
The team were called along with Edale mountain Rescue Team to an injured person in Cave Dale, Castleton.
Whilst en-route to the rv point, we were informed that the casualty had been able to make their own way down to Castleton with the assistance of their family and the team was stood down.
Team members that had arrived at site helped to ensure the casualty was ok. until the ambulance arrived.
While walking up Berry Clough one member of a DofE group stepped into a deep hole sustaining a painful lower leg injury. Initial assistance was given by some passing walkers while contact was made with the group’s supervisor, who was soon on scene.
As the casualty was unable to walk the decision was taken to call for external help and the call was made to the Police and then Mountain Rescue. The supervisor was able to give a detailed OS grid reference, so members of the team were soon on scene to provide assistance. …
The team were called out by the Police to help search for a coule who had become lost whilst out walking. An initial search by the Police had failed to locate the couple, and we were unable to lock onto their phone signal to obtain an accurate position.
As Team Members were en-route to the rv point, the Police were able to locate the couple and the team was stood down.
