Incident report
| Tasked by Derbyshire Police to locate a farmer who had gone out on their tractor but had not been contactable for some time. Macclesfield based team members Rendezvous’ed at Gin Clough Farm. The roads were blocked by deep snow from the Farm upwards so the section of six members walked to the grid reference given by the Farmer approximately 4km away. The Farmer was located in his tractor, cold and tired by otherwise safe and well. The lane the tractor was in had been blocked by an abandoned Landrover and deep drifts of snow. The Farmer was walked back to his Farm. The team returned to Gin Clough Farm. |
