Incident report
Team members were heading to bed after a fun-packed day at the Buxton Carnival when they were called out.
A group of walkers had been enjoying Lathkill Dale when one of the group aggravated an old ankle injury.
The group attempted to walk the casualty back to the road and their car but was making extremely slow progress. A local dog walker met the group and raised the alarm!
As team members were arriving at the RV point, the casualty had managed to reach the road.
The group were then taken to the campsite they were staying on, after being advised to seek further medical assistance.
