Incident report
The team was called out to assist Derbyshire Constabulary with a search for a missing walker who had become separated from their walking group.
Due to the size of the search area, the team requested the assistance of Edale Mountain Rescue Team, and 3 search dog teams from Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England.
All teams were stood down just after midnight, with the intention of continuing the search the following morning.
Shortly afterward standing downs, the teams were informed that the gentleman had been found safe and well, outside the search area
