Incident report

As team members were arriving at the RV for the Grindsbrook incident, a request was received from East Midlands Ambulance Service to assist them with an incident on Mam Tor involving a paraglider and a member of the public who was close by.

Members of Edale and Buxton Mountain Rescue Team members were diverted from the Grindsbrook incident to this one. On arrival, paramedics from the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance were attending to the casualty. Following assessment, the casualty was placed on a stretcher for a carry-off down to the road where a land ambulance transferred them to hospital.
