Incident report
The team, along with Edale Mountain Rescue Team, was called out early Sunday morning to Mam Tor to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service and Derbyshire Constabulary with an incident.
Sadly, despite the efforts of all involved, the gentleman passed away.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

No amount of thank yous will ever be enough for the assistance given by the mountain rescue teams on Sunday 11 October at Mam Tor when our friend Kevin suddenly became seriously ill. Your professionalism and compassion in such tragic circumstances was greatly appreciated and hope that our donation will help support the invaluable work of the teams in assisting others in need.
