Incident report
Just as team members were conducting the monthly first aid kit checks at Dove base, a call came through along with Edale Mountain Rescue Team for an incident involving a paraglider on Mam Tor.
Thankfully, it became clear that although the paraglider had landed heavily they were able to walk away from the scene albeit after being checked by a team paramedic.
Team members who were walking up to the summit of Mam Tor with the equipment turned around and were able to enjoy the lovely sunset as they descended back to the vehicles.
