Incident report

This was the first of two callouts around the Goyt Valley today.

The team was called to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service which was treating a walker who had taken a nasty tumble on the steep path at Errwood Dam, which resulted in facial injuries, suspected fractured ribs and a lower leg injury.

The casualty was placed onto the team’s stretcher and transferred to the ambulance.

We’d like to thank the Peak District National Park ranger for unlocking the barrier gate, making access to the road easier.
