Incident report
Buxton Mountain Rescue Team called to rendezvous at Standing Stones in Macclesfield Forest following the report
to North West Ambulance Service of a man suffering chest pains on the path towards Shutlingsloe.
An air-ambulance was also en-route but rain and low cloud jeopardised its attendance. However, as members were arriving, a message was received that the aircraft had found a window in the weather and had been able to evacuate the casualty.
