Incident report

Joint team snatch squad called following an indirect report of 72 year old man with a leg injury caused whilst walking on Kinder Scout. The casualty was also believed to be suffering from the heat of the hottest day of the year so far and was making his way down the Sledge track towards Edale.

Within fifteen minutes, and before any team members were able to start off up the hill, another call was received from East Midlands Ambulance Service stating that paramedics were now with the man who had made his own way off the hill.  The casualty was examined but not hospitalised.
