Incident report

For the third consecutive day, a Buxton and Edale Mountain Rescue team snatch squad was called to assist the East Midlands Ambulance Service. Today, we were called to Edale following reports of an injured walker on Kinder Scout.

Some team members were deployed to the top of Ollerbrook Clough. However, as the Air Ambulance was able to land close by the incident site, its crew was first on scene. The crew treated a 46 year old female from Newark, Nottinghamshire for wrist injuries.

She was flown to Chesterfield Royal Hospital for further treatment.
