Incident report

Buxton Mountain Rescue Team was called at 3.30 p.m.on Sunday 2nd July to assist Kinder M.R.T. following the report of an injured 60 year old female walker on Swines Back near to Edale Cross.
Kinder M.R.T. was already in the same area dealing with an unrelated incident and dispatched a vehicle up the track from Coldwell Clough.  The casualty was quickly located and was then assisted to the rescue vehicle from where she was transported back to Hayfield by Kinder M.R.T.
As soon as it was known that the casualty was able to walk with assistance, the eighteen members of Buxton M.R.T. which had responded to the call, returned to base.
