Hillhead Quarry, Harpur Hill
The team was requested by Derbyshire Constabulary to go to the assistance of a couple who had been walking around the quarry area. One of them had slipped and fallen, injuring their leg. The casualty was quickly located by the team, and their injury assessed. They were given pain relief before being placed in a warm ‘casualty bag’, and vacuum mattress to ensure stability of the injured leg.
