Following a report from a local team member of what appeared to be an encampment in the woods, six team members accessed the area to check out what was there.
Pleased to say, at the time there were no persons under the tarps.

Pleased to say, at the time there were no persons under the tarps.
The team was called out on Friday evening to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service, who were responding to a gentleman suffering a serious medical episode at a remote farm.
Due to winter conditions, road access to the farm was hampered by snow and ice. After rendezvousing at the team’s base at Buxton Fire Station, all four of the team’s response vehicles, along with fifteen team members made their way to towards the farm.

The team was called to assist EMAS and DFRS with evacuation of casualties from a vehicle that had come to rest in a field having left the road in snowy conditions.
The vehicle occupants were treated by EMAS, and evacuted by EMAS, DFRS and BMRT personnel.
The first call out of 2022 wasn’t long in coming as many people were taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather today, to get out and about and enjoy the views whilst exploring the Peak District National Park.
A group of walkers were descending the field below Mam Nick near Mam Tor, when one of the party slipped unfortunately injuring their lower leg.
