Called by Derbyshire Police to assist a female walker who had injured their left knee (suspected fracture dislocation). Pain relief was given and the leg splinted before the casualty was transferred in Mobile 3 to the road head and waiting East Midland Ambulance Service ambulance.

Hollins Cross, The Great Ridge.

The team was called out along with Edale Mountain Rescue Team to assist an injured person who had slipped and sustained a lower leg injury.

Team members administered pain relief and immobilised the leg, before placing the casualty on the stretcher for evacuation to the ambulance.

The casualty agreed to be taken to hospital in their own vehicle.

We wish the casualty a quick recovery.

Whitehall, north west of Buxton

The team was called out to assist a walker who had a lower leg injury on the track above Whitehall.

The casualty was taken back to Castle Naze to their vehicle and advised to seek medical attention if the self help did not improve the condition.

Ashford in the Water, west of Bakewell.

The team leader was contacted to assist in the search for a missing person somewhere around Ashford in the Water.

Just before the team were called out, information came through that the missing person had been found safe and well.

Teggs Nose Country Park, Macclesfield

The team was called out early afternoon today to a location on the Gritstone Trail in Teggs Nose Country Park, near Macclesfield. In view of the location, volunteers from both Buxton Mountain Rescue Team and Cheshire Search and Rescue responded alongside North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS).

The incident was coordinated via the Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team, who were first on the scene.
