The team was called out by Derbyshire Constabulary to look for a group of friends that had become separated in low cloud on their walk.

Team members searched the area around Jacob’s Ladder up to Edale Rocks and Brown Knoll.

A member of the party who had painful ankles was located with his dog on the Jacob’s Ladder path at dusk and was walked with team members to the awaiting team vehicles on the rough track above Upper Booth. They were given a lift back in the team Landrover to Edale….

Team requested to assist Edale Mountain Rescue Team with a search for a missing person in the area of Ringing Roger.

Thankfully the missing person was located and the team was stood down.

The team was called to a family that were out walking when one of them slipped on the muddy path around the pond injuring their lower leg.

The team provided first aid to the casualty and then transferred them onto the stretcher for the short carry to the awaiting East Midlands Ambulance Service ambulance at the roadside.

The team sends its best wishes to the casualty for a speedy recovery.

The team responded along with Edale Mountain Rescue Team to a call out to a walker who had fallen near Grindslow Knoll and was reported to have head and arm injuries.

Team members made their way up to the casualty site. Upon assessment, the casualty albeit a little cold was deemed able to walk back down to Edale. A blizzard jacket was provided for the casualty to wear on the descent to warm up.

In Edale, the casualty was transferred to the East Midlands Ambulance Service ambulance…

A walker, who was part of a group, had slipped causing a painful injury to the shoulder.

The team was requested to assist Edale Mountain Rescue Team, due to midweek team member availability.

When team members reached the casualty, strong pain relief was administered. The casualty was then placed onto a mountain rescue stretcher and the stretcher party descended via The Nab and onto Edale, where East Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics were waiting to transfer the casualty to hospital.
