The team was called out along with Cheshire Search and Rescue to an injured walker on the side of Shutlingsloe.

The casualty had been enjoying a walk over Shutlingsloe when they slipped on the descent injuring their leg.

Team members were originally called to Trentabank car park, but when a more exact location of the casualty was obtained were re-routed to the rendezvous point of Shutlingsloe Farm.

Buxton Mountain Rescue Team called-out at 5.20 pm on Wednesday 7th June following a report to police of an injured walker on the southern end of Kinder Scout.
Twenty-three members responded to the call rendezvousing near to Upper Booth in the Edale Valley.   A twenty year old lady from Sheffield had slipped on the descent from Swines Back and suffered an ankle injury.  She had bravely tried to walk on but the pain stopped her progressing more than a few metres.

Grinlow Woods

Buxton Mountain Rescue Team called at 10.30 on Monday morning by East Midlands Ambulance Service to assist with an injured walker in Grinlow Country Park, Buxton.   An elderly gentleman was reported to have been walking his dog when he slipped on a wet tree root and sustained a head injury.  Nineteen team members responded as it was a wet and cold day and not the conditions for anyone to be lying on the open ground for too long.

Rushop Edge

Buxton Mountain Rescue Team was called at 3.05 pm on Thursday 25th May by East Midlands Ambulance Service requesting assistance with the evacuation of an injured paraglider from Rushop Edge near to Mam Tor.
The 54 year old man had been airborne when a when a dramatic problem caused him to fall an estimated 10 metres to the ground.    The casualty, from Sheffield, suffered what was considered to be a significant back injury and was going to need careful handling.  The Derbyshire, Leicester and Rutland Air-ambulance was originally dispatched …
