Buxton Mountain Rescue Team called to assist Edale M.R.T. responding to a report of a collapsed walker in Hollin Clough on the east side of the Derwent Valley.
The 69 year old man from Lytham St Anns had started to feel unwell whilst walking up the valley with his family and finally became unable to continue.  A family member returned to Fairholmes Information Centre to raise the alarm and East Midlands Ambulance Service in turn requested assistance from mountain rescue.

Buxton Mountain Rescue Team was called to support Edale Team following a report of an injured man on Curbar Edge.

A 37 year old male from Milton Keynes had fallen whilst bouldering (climbing large isolated rocks without aid) and sustained an open fracture of the ankle.  The casualty was on his own and had to shout to passers by to get assistance.?  Owing to the isolation of the incident site an air ambulance was also called alongside mountain rescue and a local paramedic.

On a wet and windy day a member of a walking group from Nottingham suffered a suspected fractured ankle on the very last part of his day’s walk.

Buxton Mountain Rescue Team was called at 5:35pm on Saturday 16th September following the report of a badly injured 14 year old girl stuck on steep ground near Lathkill Dale.
The girl had been taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme when she fell some distance over a limestone crag, coming to rest on steep ground and sustaining potentially significant injuries to her hip and shoulder.
