Incident report

Whilst dealing with incident 18, a motorcycle rider came to the rescue incident control vehicle to report and accident on the rough track on Putwell Hill.   Whilst descending the steep track a trials bike rider had become parted from his machine and whilst lying on the ground was struck by another motorcycle.   The casualty was able to walk but had sustained arm injuries.

A team member dealing with the previous incident escorted an East Midland Ambulance paramedic towards the accident site to access the casualty.  A second ambulance was called for and the rider, a 49 year old man from Allestree near Derby, was conveyed to a Chesterfield hospital.
