Incident report

Buxton team members called as part of the Joint Edale/Buxton Teams’ Snatch Squad to attend Stanage Edge following a report of a man having been injured whilst bouldering.

The man had suffered a suspected femur and pelvic injuries. He was treated on-site by team members and ambulance personnel, and then winched from a difficult location into a SeaKing helicopter.

The aircraft transported him to hospital.
