Incident report

Day two of a major search of the Goyt Valley for a missing 23 year old woman.   Buxton, Kinder and Derby mountain rescue teams supported by four SARDA dogs worked from 08.00 to 19.00 without any further trace of the missing person.  Just as the teams were standing down news was received that the girl had been located by the police at an address in Buxton.

Whilst team members put in a great deal of fruitless effort into this search they were all pleased that it had a good outcome.  The teams hope that the woman can get all the necessary support she requires and that she can look forward to a better future.
