Incident report

Buxton Team was called to the Monsal Trail following reports of a cragfast female and her dog.

We were informed the woman was walking her Labrador dog when the dog went onto a ledge on the steep rock wall. The owner followed, and both were then crag fast on the stone embankment between the Litton and Cressbrook Tunnels above Water-Cum-Jolly Dale. Luckily, a passing walker was able to scramble down and coaxed them both back up onto the trail.

The team was stood down on arrival.
