Incident report

A joint Buxton and Edale snatch squad was called to Castleton at lunchtime to assist the East Midlands Ambulance Service.

A child had fallen in Cavedale and sustained head injuries. The exact location of the casualty was unknown, and it seemed like a search would be required.

However, the school party involved had assisted the casualty to Castleton village, and as the ambulance crew arrived on scene, the teams were stood down.
