Incident report
The team was called out by Derbyshire Constabulary to look for a group of friends that had become separated in low cloud on their walk.
Team members searched the area around Jacob’s Ladder up to Edale Rocks and Brown Knoll.
A member of the party who had painful ankles was located with his dog on the Jacob’s Ladder path at dusk and was walked with team members to the awaiting team vehicles on the rough track above Upper Booth. They were given a lift back in the team Landrover to Edale.
Team members arrived back to the village hall car park as the community bonfire was lit and headed home under the colourful display of the fireworks.
