Incident report
A walker enjoying the Edale valley was reported to have injured an ankle.
As with all midweek call-outs, both Edale Mountain Rescue Team and Buxton teams responded.
The first members to arrive at the rendezvous point in Edale met the walker, who had been kindly assisted to the village by two walkers.
Both teams were stood down, with three Buxton members waiting with the casualty until a East Midlands Ambulance Service arrived.
