Incident report
A call was received to respond to a climber who had been bouldering between the pinnacle and the track at Froggatt.
Edale Mountain Rescue Team cover this area, but they were already committed on their second call out of the day so Buxton team was requested to attend.
Edale sent some available resources to the incident, and when team members arrived on the scene, the casualty had been assessed by an East Midlands Ambulance Service rapid response paramedic and ambulance personnel.
The casualty had sustained a lower leg injury and had been administered strong pain relief. The casualty was then placed on a stretcher and carried to the waiting ambulance.
We’d like to thank the Longshaw Estate, National Trust for allowing team members to park their vehicles whilst attending the incident.
