Incident report
A walker enjoying a walk around Grinlow woods slipped resulting in a lower leg injury. The casualty called 999 and East Midlands Ambulance Service responded with a land ambulance.
The casualty was cared for on scene by the ambulance crew, but due to the location they were unable to safely carry the casualty to the road.
The team was called to help with the extraction. The casualty was placed onto our stretcher and transported to the ambulance waiting at Temple Fields.
We wish the casualty a full and speedy recovery.
