Incident report
| While team members were arriving at job 011, a second call came in to attend Corbar Woods. The air ambulance was deployed along side Buxton Mountain Rescue. A walker who was crossing a stile below Corbar Cross on the outskirts of Buxton, slipped and landed awkwardly momentarily losing consciousness. East Midlands Ambulance Service was first on scene, closely followed by Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance. Additional team members made their way to the casualty location. Fortunately, our services weren’t required as the patient was transferred onto the helicopter with help from members of the public. |
