Incident report
The team were called out to assist Edale Mountain Rescue Team with a walker who had sustained an ankle injury whilst descending towards Speedwell Cavern Car Park.
Edale MR team members administered first aid, after which the casualty was packaged and placed onto a Mountain Rescue stretcher and carried back to the car park.
Both teams then headed back to their respective bases to clean the kit. We wish the casualty a fast recovery and send our thanks to Speedwell Cavern for the use of their car park.
