Incident report

A call was received with the request to assist Kinder Mountain Rescue Team with an incident above Crowden Clough. As team members arrived at the rendezvous point in Tipps Car Park, Edale, an additional call was received for a second call out with Edale Mountain Rescue Team in Grindsbrook Clough.

Kinder mountain rescue team had sufficient numbers to respond to the job in Crowden Clough and air support via both helimed and the Maritime and Coastguard helicopters were en-route. Knowing the above help was soon to arrive, Buxton team members were diverted to assist EMRT with an injured casualty in Grindsbrook Clough, above Edale.
