Incident report
The team was requested to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service with the extraction of a fallen mountain biker who had been cycling in Deep Dale. The mountain biker had fallen off his bike and landed heavily on the rocky ground injuring his shoulder.
The team quickly arrived at the rendezvous point and started to carry their equipment up to the ambulance crew and casualty. The casualty was placed on a mountain rescue stretcher for a carry down to the roadside, and waiting ambulance.
