Incident report

A fallen climber crag fast on a ledge on the “Right Route” on the upper tier of the Roaches. The lady had taken a leader fall on the second pitch and landed on the ledge injuring both her ankles and her wrist. A BMRT Paramedic climbed down to the ledge and gave first aid. The team set up our standard horizontal stretcher lower system and lowered the stretcher down the second pitch to the ledge. The lady was made secure on the stretcher and then lowered down the first pitch to the ground. The team then carried the stretcher to the waiting ambulance for onward travel to Hospital.
