At 2.00 p.m. on Friday 30th June Buxton Mountain Rescue Team was called by Derbyshire police following the report of an injured walker on a public footpath at Dam Cliff near to Limestone Farm at Peak Forest.
The mature lady was one of an organised of group of walkers which was nearly at the end of its day’s walk when the accident occurred.
